Although everyone has oral care needs, studies show that people who have a disability also often have additional oral health care needs. Special Care Dentistry is the branch of dentistry that provides oral care services for people with medical, social, psychological, or physical conditions that make it necessary to modify the normal course of dental treatment. Drakeshire Dental has an unwaivering commiitment to provide top-quality dental care regardless of the patient's ability to ambulate. Our facility surpasses the requirements set by the Americans for Disabilities Act (ADA). Not only are all cubicles spacious, we are uniquely equipped with two built-in transfer lifts. 

Since all patients also need to remain still without sudden movements during treatment, we offer different sedation options that can be helpful, if needed. One of the options is IV Sedation dentistry, also known as "sleep dentistry".
